Procura+ Interest Group provides expert advice on market engagement

The Procura+ Interest Group on Market and Supplier Development provided expert consultation at a recent workshop on market engagement in Copenhagen (Denmark). David Morgan of Cornwall Council (UK), Katja Kardikova of City of Oslo (Norway) and Maria Pagel Fray of City of Copenhagen all offered their advice and experience to the SPP Regions project partners. Each presented how their organisations are developing supplier engagement and relationships, and hosted a clinic in which SPP Regions partners could gain advice related to their individual plans for engaging the market.

The Procura+ Interest Group on Market and Supplier Development was launched in June 2016. The Interest Group is facilitated by Procura+ Participant Cornwall Council, with the cities of Oslo and Copenhagen, also both Procura+ Participants, joining as the founding members.

The focus of the group will be split across three main topics: assisting businesses in understanding the needs of the public sector, including public sector procurement; building effective, competitive markets and driving innovation; and supplier relationship management and continuous improvement. If you are interested in joining an existing Procura+ Interest Group, or want to find out how to start a new group, go to the Procura+ Interest Group webpage for more details.
